Course Objectives:

Overview of the vaginal surgery techniques for POP with particular emphasis on mid compartment and undescended uterus.  The discussions will be evidence based and will allow the participants to debate, ask questions and learn tips. The interactive sessions will be supported with videos and detailed explanations of various techniques.

The workshop will improve candidates’ understanding of the pelvic floor surgical anatomy and the concept of the pelvic floor as one functional unit. Focused lectures will provide the academic background for the demonstrated surgical procedures and will provide candidates with hands-on take home tips and tricks while performing various pelvic floor surgical procedures.
